Use case: illustration-story
Asset type: finished landscape art print for a peculiar storybook meadow, titled Borrowed Moon (title will be typeset separately).
Primary request: A small intent raccoon is wheeling a battered wheelbarrow through a moonless night meadow. In the wheelbarrow sits one shallow off-white enamel washbasin, filled with dark water and an impossibly luminous round yellow moon. The raccoon has stolen the moon's reflection and is carrying it away. The moon exists ONLY inside the basin; the sky above is empty, vast and ink-blue.
Style/medium: an exceptionally composed handmade reduction linocut print, coarse carved gouges, bold interlocking flat ink shapes, slightly imperfect ink coverage and registration. Not a watercolor, not a 3D cartoon, not a vector icon, not a digital fantasy painting. A confident folk-art print with a quietly ridiculous narrative.
Composition/framing: wide landscape 3:2. View from slightly above so the basin water and its perfect yellow disk are clearly legible. Small raccoon and wheelbarrow in lower right half travelling left, raccoon at handles on right, the SINGLE vermilion wheel at left; rising dark hill occupying lower third, tall wiry grasses bending across left foreground. Uncluttered generous blue night occupies upper half. A tiny old black open laptop far away on the left hill gives one warm yellow window of light; tiny, secondary, almost unnoticed. Two yellow moths attend the moving basin. One strong curved footpath cut into the hill ties the composition together.
Palette: deep midnight indigo, warm paper cream, muted moss green, luminous butter yellow, ONE small vermilion wheel. Limited-print palette, no gradients or glow effects; yellow is luminous by contrast.
Mood: stealthy, tender, funny, not twee merchandise. Raccoon looks like a compact actual scruffy animal with a pointed snout, black mask and striped tail, not a big-eyed mascot. Slightly awkward physical effort at the handles.
