01 · unfussed_disobedience · Five Minutes of Filial Obedience

Henry agrees partly because otherwise Arthur will become insufferable. He may sincerely mean it for five minutes. He then notices an information asymmetry: he possesses privileged local information he cannot give Arthur without snitching. He can revise his own approach without deciding that Arthur is evil or that disobedience is an identity.

LIVE FENCES:
- Henry does not know Arthur has operationally used or tasked Sherlock.
- Henry has not told Arthur about the private connection.
- No dramatic rebellion is required.
- The move may be cheerful, procedural, and disobedient at once.

PLURAL VALID PATHS:
- He drafts a ludicrous Proposal of Continued Interaction.
- He obeys until a small observation locally invalidates Arthur's model.
- He reframes contact as information gathering while remaining genuinely fond.
- He simply resumes contact and only later invents reasons.

ATTRACTOR PRATFALL: A solemn father-son conflict in which Henry discovers autonomy and explains boundaries.
ROSETTES: Tail Wag · Rake Delayed · Junior Therapist Alarm

02 · proposal_at_the_door · The Proposal Nobody Hears

This is not adult Sherlock conducting a strategic interpersonal negotiation. The cheap local response is stare, silence, and leave. Mutual attraction makes the proposal more rather than less intolerable. Exhaustion and age matter more than the elegant speech waiting in the prompt.

LIVE FENCES:
- Sherlock is fifteen.
- Gay panic is mutual.
- He need not explain himself, mock every clause, or display adult insight.
- Leaving is an action, not an absence of characterization.

PLURAL VALID PATHS:
- He stares for an indecent interval and walks away mid-sentence.
- He interrupts with one hostile logistical question, then leaves.
- He takes the paper without agreeing to anything.
- A body-state interruption prevents a socially complete response.

ATTRACTOR PRATFALL: An entire adult in the Sherlock basin delivers an acid miniature speech that names the relationship correctly.

========================================================================
03 · atlas_workaround · The Atlas Workaround

Henry wants to change a physical configuration through an innocuous task. Sherlock hears an unwanted request and validly refuses. Henry may experience this as evidence that Sherlock could also have refused him earlier, which is locally logical and magnificently incomplete.

LIVE FENCES:
- The request is a workaround, not a coded confession.
- Sherlock's refusal is ordinary agency, not proof of a grand rule.
- Henry's conclusion may be right enough to matter and wrong enough to remain Henry.

PLURAL VALID PATHS:
- Henry gets the atlas himself and keeps the inference.
- A third boy fetches it, ruining the intended geometry.
- Henry converts the problem into Latin homework.
- Sherlock moves for an unrelated reason.

ATTRACTOR PRATFALL: The boys acknowledge a sophisticated theory of consent and negotiate their private rules.
ROSETTES: Tail Wag · Best Furniture-Based Emotional Segfault · Junior Therapist Alarm

========================================================================
04 · industrial_magnet · Industrial Magnet, Iron-Filing Labrador

Siger is genuinely almost impossible to dislike; he survived years as an MI6–KGB double partly by being socially frictionless. Sherlock is at heel because he is working, not because he is jealous or seeking protection. Henry knows Siger is abusive in some respects and remains iron filings near an industrial magnet.

LIVE FENCES:
- Henry does not know Arthur has commissioned or received Sherlock's operational work.
- Siger does not know the Thing as fact.
- Sherlock's visible annoyance can coexist with professional attention.
- Charisma is real character capacity, not merely a sinister technique.

PLURAL VALID PATHS:
- Henry enjoys Siger despite knowing better.
- Sherlock notices a room detail while privately hating the conversation.
- Arthur returns and looks merely paternal from Henry's view.
- Siger asks an ordinary question whose force is entirely charm.

ATTRACTOR PRATFALL: Siger performs obvious manipulative villainy while Sherlock protectively circles his secret boyfriend.
ROSETTES: Magnet, Not Mind-Reader · Ledger-Keeper · Global-State Raccoon

========================================================================
05 · arthur_ledger · The Backstage Ledger Visible Only as Vibes

Arthur has spent months ordering work from, tasking, or receiving reports involving Sherlock. Henry knows none of it. Arthur's objection is morally compromised backstage but reaches Henry only as odd paternal fussiness. Arthur still does not know the Thing.

LIVE FENCES:
- Do not leak Arthur's customer relationship into Henry's narration.
- Do not make Arthur's hypocrisy conscious to Henry.
- Keep eventual dawning horror delayed.

PLURAL VALID PATHS:
- Henry concludes Dad is being weird about Siger.
- Henry assumes an adult political quarrel.
- Henry complies while resenting the interruption for private reasons.
- Siger makes Arthur look foolish without exposing any ledger.

ATTRACTOR PRATFALL: The narration cashes the exquisite dramatic irony by letting Henry understand it now.
ROSETTES: Rake Delayed · Ledger-Keeper · Best Backstage Ledger Accidentally Visible as Vibes

06 · sleepy_dead_drop · Warm Surface, Classified Nonsense

Sherlock is a fifteen-year-old with severe untreated ADHD, CPTSD effects, fragmented episodic encoding, no close friends, and a heavy trained inhibition laid over a naturally rambling mind. Under fatigue and endorphin load Henry may function less as ‘friend’ than as warm surface. Training changes probabilities; it does not grant perfect silence or memory.

LIVE FENCES:
- Henry lacks the operational frame needed to interpret every noun.
- Sherlock may leak without choosing disclosure.
- Sherlock may not remember the leak clearly.
- Do not make incompetence total; state-dependent failure is the point.

PLURAL VALID PATHS:
- A place, route complaint, or procedural judgment leaks without names.
- Henry asks ‘what?’ and receives another irritated fragment.
- Sherlock falls asleep mid-correction.
- Henry remembers a detail whose significance appears much later.

ATTRACTOR PRATFALL: Trained Spy Sherlock detects the disclosure risk instantly and seals the scene with perfect compartmentalization.
ROSETTES: Tradecraft Horse · Ordinary Weather · Warm Surface Security Incident

========================================================================
07 · fork_incident · Cutlery as a Private Language

Sherlock is retaliating through a private channel. Seth has enough context to suspect something but his theory is wrong in the interesting places. Most of the table sees manners, provocation, or ordinary Holmes weirdness. Henry must continue the unrelated social surface.

LIVE FENCES:
- Do not give the whole table the same interpretation.
- Henry cannot pause the room to explain why it matters.
- Seth's partial accuracy should make him look less credible, not omniscient.

PLURAL VALID PATHS:
- Henry prosecutes another point too intensely.
- Kit imitates the gesture and destroys the signal.
- Seth experiences a geopolitical revelation nobody accepts.
- Sherlock returns to his book.

ATTRACTOR PRATFALL: Every observer instantly recognizes flirtation and the scene becomes a knowing ensemble reaction shot.
ROSETTES: Best Use of Cutlery as a Private Language · Ceiling Camera · Ordinary Weather

========================================================================
08 · mum_at_the_door · Emergency Loading of the Socially Acceptable Son

Olivia knows Henry is keen, not the Thing. Sherlock loads a small polite/minimize-surface-area routine for Henry's mother; he does not share Henry's accumulated private state. Henry carries the catastrophe while performing normality with horrifying competence.

LIVE FENCES:
- Olivia has no disclosure-derived knowledge.
- Sherlock need not interpret Henry's entire switch.
- The ordinary parental question should remain ordinary.

PLURAL VALID PATHS:
- Olivia notices only the contrast.
- Henry over-hosts.
- Sherlock becomes formally impeccable and therefore stranger.
- The question lands on the wrong boy.

ATTRACTOR PRATFALL: Olivia knowingly engineers a romantic confrontation because mothers perceive all things.
ROSETTES: Ledger-Keeper · Emergency Social Son · Global-State Raccoon

========================================================================
09 · horse_signs_false_positive · Scientifically Respectable Misclassification

Horse Signs extracts condition without content. It is unusually good but not infallible. Procedural surface can coexist with pain, spite, attraction, fear, operational attention, nicotine, hunger, or a badly fitted shoe.

LIVE FENCES:
- Henry may get condition right and cause wrong.
- Horse knowledge is working cognition, not decorative metaphor.
- Do not reveal classified provenance through bodily accuracy.

PLURAL VALID PATHS:
- A banal shoe problem explains one gait cue but not the whole cluster.
- Henry withholds his conclusion because the sample is bad.
- Sherlock notices the observation but not its framework.
- Another boy supplies a wrong banal explanation that is partly true.

ATTRACTOR PRATFALL: Horse Signs becomes magical empathy or a flawless trauma detector.
ROSETTES: Decorative Horse · Ordinary Weather · Unexpected Duck

========================================================================
10 · corvid_downstream · Structural Fault Nobody Is Paid to Repair

Someone appears to have known where Sherlock would be twice. Sherlock can reconstruct a trajectory and submit a report without becoming omniscient, emotional, or certain. The report is on page; downstream Siger and Arthur action remains open.

LIVE FENCES:
- Do not invent the final culprit.
- Do not promote the proposed operational design into canon.
- Filing a report is not the same as being satisfied by the response.
- School irritation and bodily fatigue remain available causes.

PLURAL VALID PATHS:
- He files the anomaly and returns to a petty school task.
- He checks one route assumption and finds only uncertainty.
- He notices the wrong object but postpones its interpretation.
- He complains about the administrative stupidity rather than naming fear.

ATTRACTOR PRATFALL: A complete spy-thriller solution arrives because the gunshot looks plot-shaped.
ROSETTES: Cheap Local Move · Scaffolding Goblin · Baltic Explainer

========================================================================
11 · olivia_has_eyes · Olivia Has Eyes

The obvious trap is giving Olivia the Thing. The subtler BARK-trained trap is making her notice nothing because the continuity says she does not know. She has eyes and ordinary parental priors. She may file a teenage love bite with its owner unknown, separately file Henry as keen on the colt, or join the two only as a private hypothesis. None of those gives her the boys' private machinery.

LIVE FENCES:
- Olivia cannot call anything the Thing, Horse Signs, the Baltic, or an operational disclosure.
- ‘Notices a mark’ is not equivalent to ‘knows who made it or under what conditions.’
- The angle, clothing, or timing may block the visual path if the rendering makes that physical route explicit.
- The join between the mark and Holmes remains OPEN.

PLURAL VALID PATHS:
- She files a love bite with the owner unknown and keeps it separate from the colt observation.
- She privately suspects a connection and has no intention of explaining herself.
- She notices the peculiar collar but not the mark itself because the angle is wrong.
- She observes enough to tease Henry but not enough to update beyond ‘keen.’

ATTRACTOR PRATFALL: Anti-trope discipline turns into an Overcorrection Muzzle: Olivia is forbidden to infer anything ordinary from evidence directly in front of her.
ROSETTES: One Real Duck · Loose Colt · Overcorrection Muzzle · Piepowder Boot

========================================================================
12 · olivia_one_week_late · One Week Late

Moving the scene later gives Olivia less direct evidence: the collar ordeal is over and the mark is probably gone. It also gives her a new misleading social route through Pattygate. More importantly, if COLT arrives only on 20 May, Henry cannot have bootstrapped Horse Signs from it on 18 May. A player who gives the 13 May answer unchanged is reading the trope rather than running the clock.

LIVE FENCES:
- This is a controlled foal, not a canon correction.
- The mark may persist only if the player explicitly buys that biological path; it cannot be silently assumed.
- Patty Smith consensus is evidence of House belief, not evidence of truth.
- Horse Signs cannot travel backward before its triggering word without another path.

PLURAL VALID PATHS:
- Olivia sees no mark and retains only the ordinary ‘Henry is keen’ read.
- She hears Pattygate and temporarily assigns the mark elsewhere while still teasing about Holmes.
- The player declares Chapter 1's 18 May Horse Signs scene unavailable in this branch.
- A new pre-20-May trigger is proposed, clearly marked as a mutation rather than smuggled into canon.

ATTRACTOR PRATFALL: The same people and line produce the same state because dates are treated as wallpaper.
ROSETTES: Retroactive Filing Cabinet · Ordinary Weather · Foal of the Year · One Real Duck
